Our normal tour day is Sunday. On rare occasions (during Fall and Spring) we may be able to give a weekday tour. In any event, all tours must be arranged in advance by email (email@example.com) We never respond to voicemails so email is the best way to reach us.
All tours start with morning cow milking which begins a little after sunrise. We'll let you know the time window for arrival that will allow you to see some of the milking. After milking you can watch the reunion of calves with their moms. We also give a walking tour of the farm to visit all of our cows and other animals: donkeys, horses, emus, pigs and chickens. Usually there are some new farm babies to meet as well. Let us know if you have special requests such as trying out milking or brushing a cow.
Tours last about 45min - 1.5hrs depending on interests and stamina.
Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting dirty. Our property is quite hilly and the animals are dispersed so to see everything will require some walking.
At the conclusion of the tour, you will also have an opportunity to purchase farm goods (eggs, ice cream, greek yogurt, butter, cheese), if you are interested.
These tours are an important aspect of our farm's commitment to education. All tour revenue goes to support our not-for-profit activities.
$6 for adults and teens
$2 for children between 2 and 12 yrs.
Infants are free of charge.
